First day of the Sage SalesLogix Boot Camp

This day started with the presentation of the SalesLogix road map.

One key point was, that there currently is no date sage has fixed where they want to sunset the LAN client.

Also SalesLogix will get a new naming starting with the next version.

This release will be named “Version 2011 release 1″.

After the presentation we started with a session called “Client side coding”, which introduces different javascript frameworks and how to use them in the web client.

After lunch a session followed concentrating on different querying methods.

We learned the differences and how to use different methods of getting data out of the database.

All in all it was an interesting day and I am looking forward to seeing interesting presentations tomorrow.
